Privacy Protocol.
This policy explains the operational data we ingest, how it is used, and the rights you have over the workflow information tied to Post Folder.
Information Collection
Post Folder is built on the principle of local-first integrity. We do not crawl your storage volumes or index your creative assets. Information collected is limited to operational metadata required for license verification and system synchronization.
Machine identifiers and OS versioning to ensure binary compatibility across macOS iterations.
Encrypted API tokens for third-party integrations (ShotGrid, Notion, Airtable) provided explicitly by the user.
Data Usage
Data is utilized exclusively for the execution of folder hierarchies and template deployment. We do not sell, trade, or analyze your project naming conventions for marketing purposes.
Your folder structures and JSON templates are your intellectual property. Our system acts as the conduit, not the repository.
Local Sovereignty
All template definitions and configuration files reside on your local machine within the ~/Library/Application Support/PostFolder directory.
Sensitive API credentials are stored within the macOS Keychain, utilizing hardware-level security (Apple Silicon Enclave).
Post Folder does not maintain cloud backups of your templates unless you manually enable external sync paths.
Secure Handshakes
Integration with third-party platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies. Post Folder transmits only the minimum necessary payload to trigger external project creation or database updates.
We utilize Paddle for secure license management and payment processing. No financial data is stored on System Architecture servers.
Your Rights
You maintain absolute control over your data. Under GDPR and CCPA regulations, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any operational data we may hold.
